Service Technician

The Service Technician diagnoses and performs repairs on all RV mechanical systems, including plumbing, LP gas, electrical, electronics, running gear, and fit/finish.

  • Works with parts/service advisors to obtain replacement parts and provides warranty administrators with documentation of repairs via photo/video using a provided WiFi tablet.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills, ability to work efficiently and independently, and general mechanical knowledge required.
  • Must be able and willing to move RVs around the lot and to assist coworkers when necessary. Maintains a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers.
  • Must provide own tools.

Prep Technician

The Prep Technician performs a multi-point inspection on each RV to get it ready for sale and/or delivery to the retail customer, and installs aftermarket add-ons and accessories.

  • Works with parts/service advisors to obtain replacement parts and provides warranty administrators with documentation of repairs via photo/video using a provided WiFi tablet.
  • General mechanical knowledge and ability to work efficiently with a set routine on a variety of RV types required.
  • Must be able and willing to move RVs around the lot and to assist coworkers when necessary.
  • Maintains a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers.
  • Must provide own tools.

Parts Advisor

The Parts Advisor provides a link between customers and service/warranty operations to ensure that parts and accessories are available for service work and retail sale.

  • Greets, waits on and cashes out customers in the parts and accessories store.
  • Orders necessary parts for service jobs and notifies service advisor upon receipt.
  • Receives and distributes incoming shipments of parts.
  • Maintains proper stocking levels and organized display of items in the dealership’s retail parts and accessories store.
  • Must be able and willing to move RVs around the lot and to assist coworkers when necessary.
  • Excellent organizational, phone, email and face-to-face communication skills required.

Service Advisor

The Service Advisor provides a link between customers and service/warranty operations to ensure repairs are completed correctly and in a timely manner.

  • Greets customers and sets appointments by phone, email or in person for scheduled work.
  • Writes service repair orders and descriptions of problems and repairs.
  • Estimates the cost and time needed for repairs.
  • Assigns repair orders to technicians based on skill level and workload.
  • with the sales department to schedule delivery appointments
  • Answers customer service questions and sets appropriate customer expectations for the best possible service experience.
  • Checks in new unit arrivals from the manufacturer, notes any defects or transport damage and submits Dealer Acceptance Forms.
  • Must be able and willing to move RVs around the lot and to assist coworkers when necessary.
  • Excellent organizational, phone, email and face-to-face communication skills required.

Warranty Administrator

The Warranty Administrator works closely with RV manufacturers and vehicle service contract providers to obtain authorization and payment for warranty work performed at the dealership.

  • Provides supporting documentation for and submits warranty claims to manufacturers.
  • Tracks claims payments and follows up to ensure prompt payment.
  • Ensures that prep/service technicians and service advisers are collecting necessary documentation to support warranty claims.

Office Administrator

The Office Administrator performs a variety of secretarial and administrative tasks in support of departments across the dealership:

  • Processes title and financial paperwork for RV sales.
  • Performs daily transactions at the bank and Secretary of State’s office.
  • Handles bookkeeping and reporting in Payroll, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
  • Keeps stock of office supplies and places orders when necessary.
  • Manages dealership phone calls and correspondence.
  • Excellent computer and organizational skills are required.

Sales Consultant

The Sales Consultant helps clients select the unit that best fits their needs while providing an enjoyable, professional experience throughout the sales and delivery process.

  • Greets customers and conducts effective feature/benefit presentations on all types of RVs.
  • Markets dealer inventory on a variety of online platforms such as the dealership website, RV Trader, Facebook Marketplace, etc.
  • Responds promptly and professionally to price requests, phone calls, and other customer inquiries as they are received, both during and after regular business hours.
  • Follows up regularly with new prospects and current customers.
  • Strategizes with and follows the direction of the sales and finance managers to close deals.
  • Acts as a customer liaison between the sales and service/parts department.
  • Assists coworkers as needed.
  • Attends meetings and trainings as required.
  • Effective computer skills to operate CRM, inventory management, and communications tools are required.
  • Must provide own mobile phone.
